Message from the Chairman

When the company was founded in 1978, the name Development Services, was derived in view of the expected development initiated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos' vision to modernize and develop the Sultanate of Oman after his ascension in 1970.

It was my vision that the company would facilitate the supply of goods and services required for the sustainable development of the country. Such services include design consultants and equipment supply required for infrastructure, oil fields development, power plants, electrical networks, industrial and petrochemical plants among many other supplies and services required to aid the economic growth of the country.

We have carefully selected a range of high quality suppliers and service providers who are in line with modern technical advances, and thus pride ourselves on delivering an excellent service to our clients, playing a major role in the development of the country's electrical systems, oil and gas industry, petrochemical plants and infra-structure requirements.

We remain committed to providing the best products and services required in the years to come.
